A tight-to-the-bleachers infield will bring you right on top of the action, making the 16th Annual Millarville Rodeo one of the best in Alberta for spectators.
Run under the auspices of The Foothills Cowboy Association (link) , the Millarville Rodeo will feature riveting fan favourite events like bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle and bareback bronc riding, barrel racing, calf roping, tie-down roping, team roping and, of course, the unpredictable and aptly named Wild Horse Race. Laugh at the hilarious rodeo clowns, cheer on the bronc busters and barrel racers, and say hello to the Rodeo queens and princesses while enjoying the great food at Threepoint Kitchen concession.
The Rodeo is also fully integrated with the famous Millarville Farmers' Market on Rodeo Saturday so come early and enjoy a day of shopping before stepping over for a day of infield action. On Saturday night, there's always has a hot band providing two-stepping music for the Rodeo Dance. The weekend also features a Beer Garden and a Western Trade Fair, the latter with displays of western art, tack and agricultural products. You're welcome to stay at the Racetrack campground overnight at $20 for the night and first come, first served.
