The Millarville Christmas Market was established in 1988 and one of the premier craft and artisan shows in Alberta.
You’ll enjoy eight fabulous days of food trucks, music, photos with Santa, face painting and so many of your favourite seasonal vendors as well as many new vendors!
Dress in layers to visit both the indoor and outdoor vendors with four heated indoor areas, Arena, Hall, the Quonset, and large heated tents. Proper footwear a consideration as it can be muddy.
Reindeer viewing, Hay rides (10:30 to 2:30) and Kids Only Shoppe open SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS ONLY!

The Millarville Christmas Market has stuck with the timed ticketed entry to provide all visitors with a more comfortable shopping experience. Over the years we have outgrown our facility with the number of guests coming, this helps us spread out the numbers so it is not so unpleasantly crowded.
For health and safety regulation reasons, dogs are not permitted in the Market Area (service dogs welcome). Please leave your pooches at home when you visit. However, you might find some homemade dog treats among our vendors to return home with!
The Kids Only Shoppe is open Saturdays and Sundays of the Christmas Market weekends. They are also now located in the Picnic Shelter at the south end of the facility by the concession.
This is a special place for children 5 – 12 years to select Christmas gifts, with shopping assistance from the elves, for their family members. All items are $15 or less, with 80% of the items being quality handcrafted locally or donated by local vendors of the Millarville Farmers’ Market.
Each gift is wrapped and tagged to keep the contents a secret until Christmas. Mrs. Claus and her elves look forward to welcoming the children back to the Shoppe every year. The profits the Shoppe are distributed between 6 local schools within the Foothills School Division to assist with their hot lunch programs.
